Offline Networking and Marketing?

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007

Do any of you market your online business offline with networking and other marketing methods? How is that going for you? Please share some of the things you’re doing and your results.

Recently I launched a monthly networking group for women, and we’ve had two meetings so far. It’s been a lot of fun (although I’m putting my hospitality gene to the test, lol!) and it’s also inspiring to hear how women have been able to pursue their dream business instead of working for someone else.

What about you? What are some of the benefits you’ve enjoyed from networking offline?

Are You An Atlanta Business Woman?

Thursday, April 5th, 2007

Come join me at Networking Girls. :)

I’m so excited about hosting monthly networking dinners for women in business. Networking is very powerful. And women are naturals at it… the problem is, many of us (who, me?) are a teensy bit intimidated by the traditional networking that might take place at, for instance, a Chamber of Commerce meeting.

Networking should be relaxed and fun. What better environment for women to engage in some shameless self promotion, girl chat and dinner than at a Tea Room? This Monday, April 30th will be the first Networking Girls dinner. Please consider joining us if you live in the metro Atlanta area or will be in town that day.

As an attendee, you’ll have the opportunity to tell a group of 35 successful women all about your business and what you need from the group. You’ll enjoy a free dinner that you didn’t have to cook (or clean up afterwards!), free door prizes and you’ll also go home with a roster of all the attendees. AND you get a link on the website for one full month free of charge.

Be sure to join the Networking Girls notification list so that I can update you. I look forward to seeing you there!
