Easy PLR Publisher – I LOVE This Plugin

Monday, September 28th, 2009

You know I’m a big fan of All Private Label Content, a PLR membership site owned by Alice Seba and Mila Sidman.

I’ve been a member for a couple of years now, but this month I’ve got new reason to love my membership: Speedy APLC Publisher.

What is it?

Speedy Publisher is a whiz-bang plug-in for your WordPress blog that allows you to instantly publish your PLR content with just a few clicks of a mouse. It is offered completely free to all monthly members of All Private Label Content.

With the plug-in, you can quickly and easily:

1. Mass upload your PLR content – .txt format – All the ALL PLR articles are in .txt format, but you can also use the plug-in for other PLR content (including Natural Mom PLR, for example!), provided it is in .txt format as well

2. Schedule imported content for publication e.g. Every other day, every 2/3/etc days.

3. Choose categories. Publish all articles in one category of your choice or individually select a category.

4. Even choose the authors. Assign all articles to one author or individually assign articles to author(s) of your choice.

This plug in is already putting some PLR to use that (confession!) would have sat, useless and NOT earning me money, on my desktop for likely several more weeks.

(Note: No sneaky stuff, the plug-in license remains active for as long as you keep your monthly membership active.)

Watch this video to get a sneak peek of of how the Speedy Publisher works, then mosey on over to All Private Label Content to sign up!

How PLR Benefits Your Business

PLR, or Private Label Rights content is a concept that is mysterious to many, but is really very useful – even essential to the success of online business owners. Purchasing PLR content for use on your websites and in your newsletters or other materials can be quite beneficial to you and your business. It can save you time, money and the headache of having to sit and write all your content yourself.

PLR articles can be edited and changed to suit your specific needs and to personalize the content to your website and your target market, which is one reason that it is so versatile and profitable.

PLR can be used in many different ways. For example, you can use PLR to add fresh, informative content to your website, blog, an e-course or newsletter. You can utilize it to create an e-book or other information product to sell. You can give PLR articles to your affiliates as a means by which to promote your current information products. There are literally dozens of uses. Your imagination’s the limit!

An e-book or e-course can virtually be created from PLR by using multiple articles and breaking them up or piecing them together to form the book or series. Sending out several emails for the e-course over a 5-7 day period will put you in front of those on your list or help you to build a list. Then, the e-book can serve as another stream of income.

If you’re an affiliate marketer and struggle with creating enough content to promote products to your website visitors, PLR can be just the ticket. Product reviews lend themselves extremely well to making affiliate recommendations. Articles can also promote affiliate products as a resource for more information or to solve a problem the reader is experiencing.

Using PLR in your business can free you up some time to spend on other more specialized tasks that are your focus and things that you probably enjoying doing more than creating content.

For PLR content that serves the natural mom and green family market, visit http://www.NaturalMomPLR.com. Get articles, natural product reviews and healthy recipes written by – and for – natural families.

Don’t forget to replace the url with your affiliate link. :-)

Content Site Update

Monday, January 28th, 2008

I mentioned in this post about improving what I’ve got in 2008, and in this post I listed some specific changes I made to a content site one day.

By way of update, I’ve seen a couple of things already, namely I made two affiliate sales. This site hasn’t made an affiliate sale in many months so that is definitely not a coincidence. I’m happy about that because it means the trend will continue.

No big jump in traffic yet but I hired a ghostwriter to write an article for me, so now I’ll submit it around the web to get more incoming links and traffic. More updates to come!

Freebie Friday: Content Skills to Pay The Bills

Friday, October 26th, 2007

Sorry I’ve been a bit MIA around here. You see I’ve been hard at work on a couple of things:

  • Re-Focusing. I’m dumping a couple of projects and even leaving an entire market behind. I’m learning that Focus is a moving target instead of a one time goal! More on that later.

  • Busy with mine and Tiffany Washko’s new Natural Mom PLR membership site.

But enough about me. Let’s talk about the freebie for this week. It’s all about using Content to grow your online business. This won’t take all day to read, in fact it’s just 9 pages long. But it touches on the following points:

  • How content sets you apart from other businesses
  • Why you want to be a “value added” marketer – and how to get there
  • What to do if you’re not a great writer
  • Getting other people to write content for you – free and paid
  • How to figure out what your ideal customer wants by way of content
  • And more good stuff.

You can download it here: Content Skills

Feel free to pass it around. :)

Niche PLR: Natural Family/Green Living

Thursday, October 4th, 2007

Many of you who visit this blog know that although I talk about general work at home/internet marketing topics, my target market is the “natural mom”. I own Natural Moms Talk Radio, created the Natural Mom Business Guide, and have a network of websites for this niche.

I’m very, very excited to tell you about a project Tiffany Washko and I have launched. I sent this newsletter out to my “natural business” subscribers earlier, but in case you aren’t a subscriber, I’m pasting it below.

As a subscriber to my newsletter, you’ve no doubt heard me mention Private Label Rights content (PLR) before and how much I use it in my business.

I’ve even made several recommendations of sources of PLR content, and all of these I still utilize.

But you know what? My friend Tiffany Washko and I saw a problem. Even though we both use PLR and have seen big things in our business as a result, we also saw a problem.

I know some of you have seen this too, because a couple of you have written to me about it!

Those of us who market to the natural mom know that we have a tough nut to crack. Natural moms are savvy. They’re well read. They research things. They know their stuff.

And they won’t be happy with sub-par information. And neither should you be!

With the PLR membership sites and article packs Tiffany and I have purchased, we were sometimes happy with the quality, and other times we weren’t. We often had to spend too much time rewriting the content, which in a way defeats the purpose of PLR, or we had to scrap a lot of it entirely because it just wasn’t appropriate for our market.

This is what one subscriber had to say:

I would never jeopardize my reputation in the natural community by passing along these subpar articles. I can see where in many marketing niches this level of content would be appropriate. However, in natural parenting it just doesn’t work. Honestly, my opinion of you has been negatively affected due to the referral to such a poor natural living resource.”

OUCH! But this reader had a point.

So Tiffany and I decided to do something about it. By now you’ve probably guessed what that is. :-)

Announcing high quality PLR articles, product reviews and recipes just for the natural family. You can get started now at: http://www.naturalmomplr.com/

Carrie
p.s. If you aren’t sure how PLR can work for you or why Tiffany and I are such big fans of it, sign up for that ecourse. Good PLR can turn around your business. And if you’re not currently marketing to the natural mom, you can still join. Interest in “green” parenting and natural living topics is getting more and more common. You would be smart to offer this kind of content on your family oriented websites.

Slap Google Back With Awesome Content

Thursday, April 12th, 2007

Were you affected by the recent Google “slap”? This one caused a bit of a stir at Mom Masterminds, and quite a few ladies there found that several of their websites were hit hard.

I did notice a small drop in traffic on a couple of my sites, but my income continues to rise. A couple of years ago, my biggest money making site was slapped by Google like… to borrow an expression we use down here in the South, a red-headed stepchild. :-)

I learned a very important lesson: never rely on search engines exclusively for traffic!
I began to hedge my bets by offering more newsletters and ecourses, free reports, articles, press releases, and other methods of generating traffic. I think that’s why this latest algorithm change hasn’t affected my overall income.

While some of this might be discouraging to you, it needn’t be. Why?

Because content is still where it’s at for internet marketers. You just have to know how to do it right. Your content is what gets you traffic, sales (whether for your own products or those you recommend as an affiliate), subscribers, AdSense clicks, and expert status.

It’s not a good idea to try to guess what Google is doing when they make algo changes. And these algo changes are unfortunately going to impact even legitimate business owners who don’t try to spam the engines. If Google told us “good guys” the secrets of their algorithms so we could avoid getting pages dropped from our sites… well, then they would have to kill us. ;)

The best thing to do is to continue offering your website visitors, customers and subscribers great information that they want, that they’re searching for, and that fills a need for them.

Basically you have 3 options when it comes to creating content. What these are, and the advantages and disadvantages of each, as well as how to use them to grow your business, is the focus of a free report my friends Alice Seba and Mila Sidman put together. I’m proud to be offering this to you here:

Every internet marketer needs to read this, regardless of the nature of their individual business. Print it out (trust me, this one is worth the ink!), grab a pen or highlighter, and pore over every word of this report. It could make your business this year.

Great news for natural businesses

Friday, December 15th, 2006

My friends Alice and Mila have really impressed me with their new unveiling:

PLR articles that provide content for health, natural parenting, gardening and even organic food business owners. I scooped up 2 packs and a subscription right away. :)

Go here to get the full scoop. You’ll even see my testimonial right there on the site: All PLR

If you aren’t sure about how to use PLR, I encourage you to signup for that ecourse offered there, it won’t cost you a thing. And don’t hesitate to leave a comment if you have questions.

Using PLR has literally changed the way I do business. I’m no longer leaking traffic. ;)
