You know I’m a big fan of All Private Label Content, a PLR membership site owned by Alice Seba and Mila Sidman.

I’ve been a member for a couple of years now, but this month I’ve got new reason to love my membership: Speedy APLC Publisher.

What is it?

Speedy Publisher is a whiz-bang plug-in for your WordPress blog that allows you to instantly publish your PLR content with just a few clicks of a mouse. It is offered completely free to all monthly members of All Private Label Content.

With the plug-in, you can quickly and easily:

1. Mass upload your PLR content – .txt format – All the ALL PLR articles are in .txt format, but you can also use the plug-in for other PLR content (including Natural Mom PLR, for example!), provided it is in .txt format as well

2. Schedule imported content for publication e.g. Every other day, every 2/3/etc days.

3. Choose categories. Publish all articles in one category of your choice or individually select a category.

4. Even choose the authors. Assign all articles to one author or individually assign articles to author(s) of your choice.

This plug in is already putting some PLR to use that (confession!) would have sat, useless and NOT earning me money, on my desktop for likely several more weeks.

(Note: No sneaky stuff, the plug-in license remains active for as long as you keep your monthly membership active.)

Watch this video to get a sneak peek of of how the Speedy Publisher works, then mosey on over to All Private Label Content to sign up!

Last week I met fellow podcasters and Mom Masterminds members Elizabeth Ashe and Nicole Dean (finally – I’ve known Nicole for about 6 years now and she is one of my favorite, most inspiring and informative online mentors) while they were attending the Niche Affiliate Marketing seminar here in Atlanta.

Their hotel was less than a mile from my home so I dropped by to say hello. I wish I could have stayed longer, but unfortunately had a funeral to attend that afternoon.

Here’s a pic of me, the kids and Nicole:

Today I got an email from a woman I met offline.

“My name is S… C…, in 2007 I attended one of your virtual classes at the Tea Room in Fairburn. I was wondering if you could help me with something.

I want to start a blog page. How do I go about creating a blog page, and how do I get people to advertise on my page? Is the anyway you could help me with your expertise?

Thank you, I would really appreciate it.

Hi Stephanie,

Thanks for contacting me!

The answer to how to start a blog is pretty easy. The web hosting company I use for my sites is Mom Webs/Reliable Webs, and they have an offer right now that I mentioned here:

http://carrielauth.com/blog/get-a-free-blog/

If you sign up for a new hosting account, they will install a Wordpress blog for you and make it look professional. Then your job is to write the content.

As far as how to get advertisers and monetize your blog, I couldn’t possibly answer that in an email

I do offer one-on-one coaching however, to answer questions about blogging and internet marketing.

You can see more about that here:

He wanted to know more about blogging.

“I just came across your website(s). (Oh, Google.) Love to talk about blogging/passive income someday. I’ve had an idea for a blog since forever but have yet to do anything. Would love to talk to you about how you maintain a schedule, etc. Just process sort of stuff.”

- @Volfro of BigSweaterDesign

My first thought was, umm… what can I teach a young single guy about time management? Haha!

My idea of time management is figuring out how to get work done with 4 kids underfoot.

But then I realized.

Maybe I AM the best person to teach someone about productivity. After all, if I can manage profitable blogs in 15 minute increments, anyone can.

Speaking of 15 minute increments…. that was actually a tip I picked up from Nicole Dean. Nicole is a well respected information and affiliate marketer. She is also the affiliate manager for Jimmy D. Brown.

I read an article of Nicole’s in which she suggested you set a timer for 15 minutes when you sit down to the computer.

If you have children, you probably know how efffective a timer is for setting boundaries with your kids.

“When the timer dings, XYZ will happen.” Often, it means someone gets a turn, or they get mom’s attention.

But even if you’re not a work at home mom, working fast and hard in short increments is a wonderfully effective way to stay uber focused.

Nicole just finished up a free report with more of her tips on staying productive when you work from home.

Honestly, the hardest part of owning an online business or blogging is this: staying focused and productive when you don’t have deadlines, work hours or a boss to be accountable to.

Launching a successful blog requires a commitment to creating high quality content on a regular basis, and it can be overwhelming. Some good time management strategies are definitely helpful.

You can download the .pdf report here.

It’s full of practical advice from a busy mom of two and full time online business owner. Let me know what you gleaned from the report in the comments!
