Writing articles accomplishes several things all at once.
First, you use the articles yourself on your own site/blog to generate more traffic, provide information (and therefore goodwill) to your target market, and sell products (or host ads or whatever you do to make money online!). You reuse the articles on your newsletter or autoresponder. You give them to your affiliates so they can publish them and make more sales for you.
Then you distribute them – which helps you get more incoming links (boosting your traffic and rankings) and establishing you as an expert in the topic.

It’s really not that hard once you have a template. And once you have that, you can repeat it over and over again with all kinds of different topics and titles.
