Are You Milking It For All It’s Worth?

Speaking of your words, of course! Are you squeezing every last drop of value that you can out of your writing online?

Nicole Dean spoke about this in her Easy Article Marketing course and since then I’ve been brainstorming more ways to make my content go farther. Here are some ideas:

When you send out your newsletter, do you archive it somewhere on your website in order to create search engine fodder?

Do you create articles from your newsletter and blog posts? Your intro paragraph that prefaces your ezine could be the start of a great article! And your short blog posts could be lengthened a bit and turned into an article.

When you write content for your own site, do you also submit those articles to free content resources like Ladypens and Free Content Resource? (There are many others…do a Google search for “submit content”)

What about informative posts you make to message forums? How many times have you posted a tip to someone and copied and pasted that into a word file on your computer so that later you can form that into an article or FAQ for your site?

Same thing with emails. When you send a reply to a customer in order to answer a question, paste that sucker into your customer FAQ or order thank you page to save yourself time. Or if you send an email assisting a fellow work at home Mom, form that into a blog post or article.

It’s your words that sell your product and inform your visitors. Your words are the most valuable thing you have online. See how many ways you can brainstorm how to use and reuse your content for maximum exposure and value. Milk your words for all they’re worth!
