Make Sure You Don’t Miss These

Thursday, January 26th, 2006

I’ve mentioned some cool freebies lately and wanted to make sure
you got them all.

For starters, how to really get what you want this year from your business.

This one is a video that you can listen to on your computer while
you wash dishes or feed the kids. Click here and
prepare to be inspired in a big way!

Speaking of the kids, did you know that they can easily start
their own website for fun or even profit?
Click here for a report that tells you how.

And here’s something new:

Using technology to automate your business.
My friend Lynette put together a nifty report on her favorite
tools that save her time at the computer by automating
her online business day.
And don’t be scared, because a lot of these actually make
things EASIER for you. Don’t be afraid of technology!

Have fun with these, but don’t stop there. Make some brief
notes about what you learned and put it into action. And
please email me or comment here if you have questions. :)

Business Ideas for Kids

Thursday, January 12th, 2006

I don’t know about you, but it would suit me just fine if my kids never had to have a job.

I came across a neat website the other week after reading this Mom’s story in Lynne Klippel’s book Web Wonder Women. The Mom in question is Rhea Perry. I loved reading about her entrepreneurial kids. Take a look.

Here’s a neat gift for you if you’re thinking of helping your kids develop the netpreneurial spirit. It’s full of ideas on how to help your kids brainstorm business ideas and how to get their eBiz up and running. Download it free HERE

Jimmy Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth

Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006

Only he calls it “Day Specific Activities”. I call it the “Daily Activity Standard.” I talked about this the last time I was on Wahm Talk Radio. I guess great minds think alike :)

In a gist, it means to establish a list of the things you need to do to grow your business that need to be done daily and stick with that! Before you get distracted by visiting forums, reading blogs, checking email, looking at the latest-greatest-whiz-bang offer.

Jimmy put together a wonderful report that explains more about this concept and how you can put it into use to make 2006 YOUR year.

You can download it for free by clicking here: How To Make 6 Figures Online

Go get it :)

Are You Milking It For All It’s Worth?

Sunday, January 1st, 2006

Speaking of your words, of course! Are you squeezing every last drop of value that you can out of your writing online?

Nicole Dean spoke about this in her Easy Article Marketing course and since then I’ve been brainstorming more ways to make my content go farther. Here are some ideas:

When you send out your newsletter, do you archive it somewhere on your website in order to create search engine fodder?

Do you create articles from your newsletter and blog posts? Your intro paragraph that prefaces your ezine could be the start of a great article! And your short blog posts could be lengthened a bit and turned into an article.

When you write content for your own site, do you also submit those articles to free content resources like Ladypens and Free Content Resource? (There are many others…do a Google search for “submit content”)

What about informative posts you make to message forums? How many times have you posted a tip to someone and copied and pasted that into a word file on your computer so that later you can form that into an article or FAQ for your site?

Same thing with emails. When you send a reply to a customer in order to answer a question, paste that sucker into your customer FAQ or order thank you page to save yourself time. Or if you send an email assisting a fellow work at home Mom, form that into a blog post or article.

It’s your words that sell your product and inform your visitors. Your words are the most valuable thing you have online. See how many ways you can brainstorm how to use and reuse your content for maximum exposure and value. Milk your words for all they’re worth!
